Topdog/Underdog is a play by American playwright Suzan-Lori Parks which premiered in 2001 off-Broadway in New York City. Suzan-Lori Parks’ Topdog/Underdog play is a Pulitzer Prize-winning work which first opened on Broadway in 2002. As the game and their lives unfold, Booth and Lincoln must confront the ghosts and true nature of their pasts. The pair are linked not only by blood, but by an obsession with street con game “three-card monte”.
